Terms of use
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms apply to the Tropino app and to this website. They are provided by Uladzislau Zaliahai, ul. Człuchowska 47 lok. 25, 01-360 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5223265672, entered in the Polish business register (CEIDG) ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@tropino.app.
The app
Tropino turns trips (routes, photos, clips and notes) into animated map videos. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the app store you got it from. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the app, or take it apart, except as the law allows.
The videos you make are yours. You may use them as you like, including on social networks and for commercial purposes, as long as you keep the short credits they carry for the map data (see "Maps and data").
Free and Pro
The free version costs nothing and has limits shown in the app (for example, the length of videos and a watermark). Tropino Pro removes them. Its plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the app and in your app store before you buy.
- Who sells Pro. Pro is sold through Google Play or the App Store. The store takes the payment and handles billing, taxes and refunds under its own terms; in the European Union it sells Pro to you in its own name, on our behalf.
- Subscriptions. A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at its current price, until you cancel it. The store tells you before a price goes up.
- Free trial. A free trial turns into a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel it before then. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time in your store: your subscriptions on Google Play or on the App Store; in the app, Settings → Manage subscription takes you there. To be sure the next payment is not taken, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the renewal: Pro stays until the end of the period you have paid for, and that period is not refunded by cancelling alone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- One-time purchase. It gives you Pro for good on the store account you bought it with; nothing renews.
- New phone. “Restore purchases” on the Pro screen brings back Pro bought with the same store account.
- Refunds. The store decides on refunds and makes them, under its rules and the law: Google Play’s refunds, the App Store’s. We cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves, and we have no refund rules of our own beyond the store’s and the law. If the store sends you to us, write to support@tropino.app; we answer within 14 days.
Your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights the law of your country gives you.
- Right of withdrawal. In the European Union you may generally withdraw from a contract made online within 14 days, without giving a reason. The contract for Pro is made with the store, so you withdraw through the store, on the same pages as for refunds (Google Play, App Store). When you buy Pro, it starts right away at your request; where the law then ends or limits the right of withdrawal, it does so. If you write to us instead, we tell you how to do it with your store.
- If something does not work. We are responsible for the app and Pro working as described. If they do not, you can complain (in Poland, a reklamacja): write to support@tropino.app, describe the problem and, if you can, how to see it. We will answer within 14 days. If we cannot fix it, you may be entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract, as the law provides.
- Disputes. If we cannot agree, consumers in Poland can turn to a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or to the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); elsewhere in the European Union, to their national consumer bodies.
Your content
Your trips, photos, clips, notes and videos are yours. They stay on your phone, and we receive no rights to them. You are responsible for what you publish, including the people in your photos and the places you show. The app can hide places in your videos, such as your home; check a video before you share it.
Maps and data
The maps come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database License) and other open data listed on the map data page. Videos carry the short credits these licences require; do not remove them. Map data is provided as it is and may be incomplete or out of date.
Use with care
Do not use the app while driving, or in any way that distracts you from the road. Distances, speeds, climbs, steps and calories are estimates from your phone's sensors; do not rely on them for navigation, safety or health.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Tropino and its map available, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. We may update the app to fix problems or add features. If we change these terms, we will publish the new version here with its date; changes do not reach back to purchases already made.
Liability
We are liable as the law provides. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for personal injury.
App stores
If you got Tropino from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Neither Apple nor Google is a party to these terms.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
