Tropino

Privacy policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

Tropino is made to keep your trips to yourself. The app has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it never uploads your routes, photos, notes or videos. This policy explains the little data that is processed at all, who processes it and why.

Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data described here is Uladzislau Zaliahai, ul. Człuchowska 47 lok. 25, 01-360 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5223265672 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@tropino.app.

In the app

What stays on your phone

Everything you create or record with Tropino is stored only on your phone: your routes and the places you stop at, the photos and clips you choose, your notes, the looks and templates you save, your settings, the body details you may enter to estimate calories, and the videos you export. We cannot see any of it. Tropino does not copy it anywhere. It is deleted when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

Permissions

Tropino asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it, and works without the ones you decline:

What leaves your phone: the map

To draw maps and lines along roads, the app downloads map data (map tiles and road data) from our storage at tiles.tropino.app, run for us by Cloudflare. Like any request on the internet, these requests carry your phone's IP address, and the pieces of map they ask for show which area is being viewed. We have turned on no request logging, we do not look at individual requests, and we cannot tell who asked for what. Cloudflare processes them on our behalf to deliver the files and to protect the service from abuse, and may keep brief security records of requests it blocks. Road data downloads on Wi-Fi only unless you change that in the settings.

Nothing else is sent: no identifiers, no usage statistics, no crash reports. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code from anyone.

Purchases

Tropino Pro is bought through your phone's app store (Google Play or the App Store). The store takes the payment and keeps the records of your purchase under its own privacy policy. We receive no payment details and no information about you; the app only learns from the store whether Pro is active on your phone.

Sharing

When you share a video, a trip file or a route, your phone's share sheet sends it where you choose. That is between you and the app or person you pick; we do not receive a copy.

On this website

Visiting

The website tropino.app is served by Cloudflare. To load its pages, your browser sends your IP address and the usual technical details (such as the page asked for and your browser's preferred languages); Cloudflare processes them on our behalf to deliver the pages and protect the site. The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other services.

The feedback form

The form on the help page sends us what you write, the kind of message you chose, the page's language and, if you came from the app and left it ticked, the app's version and platform. It reaches us by email (through Cloudflare's email routing, into our mailbox at Google). It does not carry your name, your email address or your IP address. To limit how many messages one network can send, and to drop a message sent twice, the website keeps one-way fingerprints of your IP address and of the message's words, made with a key that changes every day: they cannot be turned back into the address or the words, and they are deleted at the end of the day (UTC). Your IP address itself is not stored. Please do not write personal details in your message. We delete messages after 12 months at the latest.

Emails to us

If you write to support@tropino.app, we receive your email address and your message, and use them to answer you and, for complaints, to handle them as the law requires. We keep this correspondence for 12 months after the matter is closed, or longer only where the law requires us to keep records.

Legal bases

Who else processes data

Some of these companies process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. As we hold almost no data about you, and none that identifies you in the app, we may find nothing to show you; write to support@tropino.app and we will help as far as we can.

You may also complain to a data protection authority: in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, https://uodo.gov.pl), or the authority where you live or work.

Children

Tropino is not meant for children under 16, and the app collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with its date.
